  • Add beef short ribs, water, garlic, spring onions (whites), salt, black pepper, and cumin to a pot. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, skimming any foam.
    Water: 1000 ml
    Salt: 1.5 tsp
    Garlic: 2 cloves
    Spring Onions: 2 spring onions
    Black Pepper: 0.25 tsp
    Beef Short Ribs: 500 g
    Cumin: 0.5 tsp
  • Lower heat to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook until ribs are tender.
  • Add potatoes and continue simmering until the potatoes are tender.
    Potato: 2 potatoes
  • Taste and adjust seasoning. Ladle into bowls and garnish with chopped coriander (cilantro).
